The fun, community involving event, Drive One For UR School, is back. Last year, we had some much fun helping the Travelers Rest High School raise money, we decided to do it again this year. If you missed out, we encourage you to come support your local high school on March 20th. If you came before, we hope to see you again this time.
We all know that schools are often underfunded in their efforts to support their sports teams and other extracurricular activities. High Schools (and the students themselves) are constantly looking for new ways to raise money to support their activities, and that’s where Ford steps in. Ford recognizes this need and, as an integral part of the community, has developed the Drive One 4 UR School program to connect Ford Dealers with local community efforts. George Coleman Ford is working with our local high school, Travelers Rest High School, to execute this exciting opportunity where test-driving Ford vehicles can result in big cash rewards for Travelers Rest High School – a $20 donation for each test-drive limit of one (1) donation per household, up to a total of $6,000. We will have one of every vehicle out for a test-drive, except a Mustang, Ranger, Crown Victoria, and an E-series van because these vehicles are ineligible for the $20 donation. Also, we will have refreshments, and hopefully, we can meet all the families that turn out to support their community through their high school and local Ford dealer.
